Annette Marzan is a Hudson Valley trailblazer, community organizer and human rights activist. She was born in East Harlem before moving to Newburgh, NY where she has spent the last 30 years as an advocate serving the needs of her community.

As a bilingual case aide for Spanish speaking teen moms, Annette provided assistance with housing and prenatal care for young mothers. Working with the Newburgh Healthy Black and Latinx Coalition Annette helped organize for the Community ID Program and the Worker Justice Center which provides ID’s for undocumented community residents.
